Contractions - the story of labor

Here I am mid-contraction. After a lot of support from Everett and almost two fun-filled hours of pushing, we welcomed Ellie into this world... she is a lot of work but mostly just a blessing we are thankful to have! We have several good quotes from my time in labor... afterwards, I told the doctor "I am sure I am supposed to thank you at this point, but I am not ready for that. I am going to have to forget this whole experience a little" She laughed and I thanked her the next day!
