Update on Baby Mason

We had another sonogram today, and Mason looked great. She is still a girl. I was a little nervous about that bc Ellie keeps insisting that she will have a baby brother and we have already painted Mason's room pink. She looked perfectly healthy and kept balling up and then trying to kick the sonogram tech pushing on my stomach. It was hilarious. We cant tell much about what she looks like but she has a big upper lip on these profile shots... We showed Ellie the video when we got home and she was so proud that Baby Mason sucked her thumb just like Ellie. I told her that Mason would probably want to be just like her and then I asked her if she would be sweet to her. She said "I sweet Baby Mason on my birthday when I have presents" She is obsessed with birthdays lately!

Other News:
1. The Ueltscheys had a little girl named Taylor (so much fun that our girls will be the same age...)
2. Scott and Helen had a little boy named Taylor
3. Brad and Kim are having a boy, and I am counting on him and Taylor M to protect Mason...

As for me, I am still getting sick about 3 times a week but feeling a bit better in between episodes. It is difficult to continue on like this week after week but I know the end is getting closer. My weight gain is on track but my doctor thought it was hilarious that Kim and I split a Philly Cheesesteak sandwich and a cheeseburger w/fries right before my appointment. So much fun to have friends and family preggo the same time you are :) I loved getting to see Baby Taylor just after she was born last week but I am so jealous of Rebecca now that her delivery is over. I wish I could have Mason tomorrow!

Christmas and Birthdays

Well, I did a terrible job of picture over Christmas, but you will get a few glimpses in these posts. I really felt terrible most of the time so I just couldn't make myself keep snapping pictures. The twins birthday is Christmas day - so we sampled some delicious birthday cakes Christmas day... Happy Birthday to Jesus, Barret and Brandon :)

Christmas fun

Christmas

Sarah and Ellie

We visited the Potts in Kosy a few weeks before Christmas. It was so much fun to catch up and spend some time with their sweet kids. I did not get any pictures of Burton - not sure why, but he was very cute and tiny.... Ellie was absolutely obsessed with him. She still wants a little brother! I should also mention that we had a great trip to a wonderful catfish buffet in Kosy where Everett got a glimpse of a man eating his massive plate of fried food while wearing a mesh baseball hat (like a trucker) and only have about 2 buttons of his shirt actually buttoned. The food was delicious, though!

His Faithfulness

This picture reminds me of God's faithfulness to our family this Christmas.  Ellie had a little accident (we are still not really sure what happened) but the plastic surgeon put quite a few stitches between her eyes in the beginning of December... I started a journal so Everett and I can clearly point our girls to specific instances of God's faithfulness and grace in our lives from their earliest moments.... I would love to post the journal describing our little trip to the emergency room but it is long and every time I try to copy and paste, it doesnt work - if anyone has any hints, let me know.

Long time, no blog

Sorry I have been so MIA. We left our camera in Destin over Christmas so I am waiting to get some pics to update you all. We had a wonderful and eventful December. One trip to the emergency room for stitches, 14 hours in the car to and from Destin, and I had my biggest weigh in after Christmas - the scale proved I had a good time eating all the wonderful food at Christmas. I did, however, pass my gestational diabetes test with flying colors (thank goodness) and am now busily trying to get the girls rooms together so that we can transition Ellie to the big girl bed (Lord, help us - please!)

Happy New Year and I will update as soon as I get some pics!
