It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas!

We are getting excited about Christmas. We love thinking about the traditions we will start with Ellie and how she will learn about Jesus each year. We are asking around about fun family traditions, so if you have one, let us know!  Posted by Picasa

our family has always had a special christmas eve steak dinner....fine china, candles, christmas music....every single christmas eve....it is special because it was one of the few times we all sat down as a family and ate and talked....last christmas, eliza kate was too little to sit at the table, but i am so excited about this year!

i'm also looking forward to starting our own family traditions...

oh- forgot to say this in first comment... we do the same thing that kendy's fam does. Christmas eve is the big deal.
we would eat ALOT, wear matching pj's, sometimes, the kids would go caroling- and we would read the Christmas story and sing songs!

I love all the new pictures of sweet Ellie! We are brainstorming about Christmas traditions too! One of our favorite things to do was to drive around on Christmas Eve through the streets of Mobile that are REALLY decorated for Christmas and admire all the lights. Then we would go to Christmas Eve church which was always so pretty and holy feeling. I'm looking forward to hearing what you come up with!
